Please note: The deadline for filing residential protests is April 30, 2010 or the date indicated on your appraisal notice.  However, homeowners that miss that deadline may still file a protest without penalty until the later of June 1, 2010 or 30 days after the date their appraisal notice is mailed.  All other property owners must file their protest by the later of June 1, 2010, or 30 days after the date their appraisal notice is mailed.  If the applicable deadline has passed, you will be unable  to use iFile™ to enter a protest.

The iFile™ number is year specific and is only available on the property’s “Notice of Appraised Value” that is typically mailed to property owners during the Spring of each year. The iFile™ number is printed in the upper right corner of the front page of the Notice and may also be found in the upper right hand corner of the green “Notice of Protest” in that same mailing. Please make sure you have selected the correct year.
