Residential Exemption Assistance Sessions 2025

As part of our continued commitment to community outreach, the Harris Central Appraisal District will offer exemption assistance sessions throughout 2025. These sessions are designed to assist property owners with the application process, explain exemption eligibility requirements, and ensure all necessary forms are properly completed and submitted. Whether you're applying for a property tax exemption for the first time or have questions about a specific exemption type, our assistance sessions provide the opportunity to speak directly with an HCAD representative for personalized guidance.

Please note that April 30 is a soft deadline for several exemption types, and we encourage early submission to help ensure timely processing.

In 2025, residential exemption assistance sessions will be available both online and in person.
